Oskar Blues IPA

Oskar Blues IPA is an American IPA, 6.43% ABV.

This pours with a nice golden yellow color, crystal clear with great head retention. The aroma is lacking a little bit, but there is some nice sweet bread malt, some sweet citrus and mango, and a hint of pine. The taste starts bright and with some crisp orange and grapefruit citrus. A medium bite of pine and some solid, but not overpowering, bitterness that is a welcome addition to the hop profile. Add to all that some mildly sweet malt in the taste as well.

This is a really solid IPA, I can’t see any reason why I wouldn’t pick this up to have around the house pretty regularly.
