The Bruery Jardinier
The Bruery Jardinier is a Belgian Pale Ale, 4.9% ABV. Described on the website as a… sessionable beer[s] so often found on the Belgian dinner table. Bright and flavorful with an assertive hop character…
This beer pours with an extremely active head (so pour gently) and a slightly hazy lemon color. Classic Belgian aroma on the nose. I’m smelling big yeast, peppery spice, light and bright citrus, some grass and hay, and a little floral notes as well. Flavorful and easy to drink on the palate. Once again the spicy yeast dominates, but I’m also getting notes of lemon and grapefruit, mild cereal grain, a bit of green apple tartness and peppercorn. It is all finished up with some medium hop bitterness on the finish. The carbonation is a touch high, making this a bit hard to enjoy as quickly as I want to.
I have to say I really like this, and at $6.99 for a 750ml bottle this is a tasty beer from The Bruery that is actually a pretty good price for my budget!
