The Unknown Brewing Co. Over The Edge

The Unknown Brewing Co. Over The Edge is an American IPA brewed with cascade hops that are added in seven different additions, 6.9% ABV.

This is a bit darker for an IPA, deep golden caramel color with a decent white head. I’m getting a sweet aroma of sugary candy, buttered biscuits and caramel, just a hint of pine in the background. Spicy and bitter with a strong hop presence on the taste. Some mild caramel malt is lying just underneath it all, with a dry grapefruit and earthy hop finish. The sweetness in the aroma plays well with the strong west coast style hops in the taste.

I’d come back to this one on occasion if it was available here, a solid IPA all around.
