Cambridge Brewing Co. Flower Child IPA

Cambridge Brewing Co. Flower Child IPA clocks in at a sturdy 6.5% ABV, best by date of 01/28/17.

This beer pours with a mostly clear yellow gold color and has a nice thick off white head that hardly fades at all. This has a pleasant if not overly potent aroma. Sweet and floral on the nose… a mild bit of pine… and maybe just a hint of citrus as well. A solid sweet biscuit malt profile hits the taste buds first, a little caramel follows that, and then the hops take over. Easy floral hop notes along with flavors of grapefruit, pine, and orange. A dry and moderately bitter finish has me crushing this can of beer.

Even if it isn’t life changing, Flower Child hits on a lot of what I really like in an IPA these days.
