This has a nice and dark color, appropriate for a winter Pale Ale. Euphoria pours with a clear and deep golden color with some copper tones, and a big tan head with solid retention. Pretty looking beer. I’m getting a great combination of sweet caramel malt and pine/grapefruit hops on the nose, fantastic aroma. Not as much sweet malt as I was expecting in the taste, a little is there but the base of this beer has more of a dry cracker flavor. The hops are really the star though, bright and citrusy with a muted bit of pine. The mouth-feel is pleasant as well, crushable, but with enough heft to be a Winter seasonal.
An absolutely perfect way to start an evening of cold weather beer drinking. This is a nice warm up for bigger and sweeter winter brews.
